Secure Access

MyConferenceSM Secure Access
(SA): SA provides a moderator the ability to select a 4-digit secure access code prior to each conference to ensure maximum security.

How it works:

Moderator experience: The moderator determines if a particular conference call requires the Secure Access feature. If so, the moderator chooses a four-digit code to be used as their Secure Access Code for that particular call. The moderator notifies the participants of the time of the call, dial in number, participant passcode and the four-digit Secure Access Code for the call. At the time the moderator dials into their MyConference, the moderator will be prompted for their moderator passcode, billing reference number or client/matter numbers (if required) and they will be prompted to enter the Secure Access Code (or to press * (star) to bypass the secure access feature).

Participant experience: Participants will be asked to enter the participant passcode and then will be asked to enter the Access Code (after the Host has dialed in and entered the Access Code). If the Host elects to bypass the Access Code, participants will be placed into conference after they have entered their participant passcode.

You can turn the Secure Access feature on or off by dialing the access number for your account and entering the moderator code. Once in the conference, you can toggle the Secure Access feature “on” or “off” by pressing *31.
